About Me

I’m a maths teacher holding expertise in Vedic maths and abacus for about 20 years*. I was awarded the Best Teacher Award by my previous academy from 2008 to 2011 for having the most number of students securing ranks in the state championship. I have earned the award for The Best Teacher by beGalileo (a global mathematical enrichment program) for the year 2018.

In the last two decades, I’ve come across students of all ages and professions which has enabled me to grow as a teacher and create a deeper impact on my students. With time, I’ve been able to help children get over the stigma that “Maths is a difficult subject”. 

I personally believe that the key to helping a child reach his/her absolute potential is directly related to his ability to express himself. Hence I prioritize communication with all my students. Children are always encouraged to speak out about their problems at the earliest stage so that they can be solved. This helps them build confidence, not only in me but also in themselves. In order to achieve the above-mentioned goals, I use a number of interactive teaching methods like hands-on demonstration, games and one-to-one interaction. 

I intend to take the help of Classbuk as a platform to amplify my reach and help students from all across the globe. With time, I hope I can learn more about children from all around the world and help them become better at the subject.
