About Me
I love children and many people have told me that I have a way with them. I have been a teacher for the past twenty-five years and I am fortunate that even today, I continue to be a part of the lives of many of the children whom I have taught. I am an active storyteller for quite some time now. I am a writer of short stories too, and I publish my stories online, on various publications on Medium. I have also published a book of short stories – ‘The Heart Speaks.’
I am blessed with happy family life, with my children well-settled. I strongly believe in the saying, ‘Catch them Young.’ It is immensely satisfying to see that most of my students have developed a thinking mind, and possess a strong sense of integrity. The power of communication has always amazed me, and I believe storytelling is one of the most interesting and effective ways of practicing it.
I love this journey of learning, while lovingly guiding innocent minds towards knowledge and wisdom.
My Class
Storytelling for children 3-10 years
Storytelling is an effective tool for learning and development in kids. According to recent research, storytelling for kids creates empathy in them, helps with their brain development, and lays the groundwork for the development of social, communication, and interpersonal skills. Usher them into the world of storytelling to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Each class is different from the others and the sessions are interactive and most importantly fun.
Learning Goals: Children will learn basic values and morals of life, developing a thinking mind that will make them clearer in thoughts. They will become confident and adept at making the right choices, in life. They will get to know about their traditions, culture, and rich heritage from the stories narrated to them.
